IEI Awarded GSA Schedule 84 Contract

With IEI products now available on the General Services Administration Schedule, the opportunities available to the company in government accounts have been significantly enhanced. The GSA Schedule is a government wide procurement vehicle. GSA Schedule 84 includes the security services and a number of other product areas.

The approval of the GSA contract means that IEI can market its products to government agencies that require a GSA contract. Going forward the company will commit dedicated resources and activities to capture more government sales. Click here to read the press release announcing the granting of the GSA contract.

Security dealers interested in pursuing government sales of IEI products can email us at govsales@ieib.com, or call 800-343-9502.

IEI Highlights Strengths with New Tagline

The term “Trusted Access Solutions” has been adopted as the new IEI tagline to signify the value-add and market focus of the company. Research conducted by the company, both formal and informal, reveals that both security dealers and distributors greatly value IEI’s dependability and reliability, both with products and in personal dealings. In other words they “trust” IEI to provide products they can depend on. The focus on Access Solutions signifies the importance that IEI places on providing a total answer to customers’ access control needs. Look for the new tagline on all new company material.

Max 3 Delivers Faster Communication, Easier Installation and More Functionality

The Max 3 system is the latest addition to IEI’s Secured Series product line. An evolution of the HubMax II and MiniMax II systems, the Max 3 is simple to install and simple to use, yet provides powerful monitoring and control features.

With the addition of RS485 communication and the latest version of Hub Manager Professional Software, Max 3 has a 70 percent faster import of event logs stored in the controller over the previous HubMax II systems. Max 3 supports Wiegand readers as well as the complete IEI line of system keypads and readers without the need for an interface module. In and Out readers can also be used on the same Max 3 module to record access and egress activity.

Included with the system is the latest version of Hub Manager Professional Software version 7.2.4, which includes new features such as System Dashboard, Set-up Task List, and Dynamic Device Detection. The System Dashboard allows users to lock and unlock doors from their PC as well as view the door status and event log. Set-up Task List displays recommended order of the system setup procedures and includes tutorial video support. Dynamic Device Detection automatically searches the LAN/WAN for any IEI Secure Ethernet Gateway (SEG-1 and Seg-M) and automatically adds it to the system.

The Max 3 system can be ordered in convenient single door kits, which include Hub Manager Professional Software, power supplies for booth system and lock hardware, and a proximity reader compatible with HID, AWID, Casi ProxLite, and xCeed id credentials.

The Max 3 system is available in two configurations: the Max 3 System which allows for fast and easy expansion one to four doors at a time; and the MiniMax 3 System which is a single door system. Both configurations can be expanded up to 64 doors per network connection.
